We did what would be considered ridiculous 10 years ago-- bought a house without actually visiting it in person, and Tricia and Bob helped make that happen!!! Let me explain....We are retired military/ Dept of Defense civilians who lived in Europe and Asia for the last 13 years, and it finally became time for us to return to CONUS (continental US for you non-DoD types). This was a unique and challenging house purchase and move, and while seeing the houses in person is the ideal, it just couldn't happen in our case. Two things enabled us to do this with confidence -- modern technology (internet and FaceTime) and a professional, committed real estate agent who gave us honest assessments, showed ultimate flexibility, and was there every step of the way.
