We did what would be considered ridiculous 10 years ago-- bought a house without actually visiting it in person, and Tricia and Bob helped make that happen!!! Let me explain....We are retired military/ Dept of Defense civilians who lived in Europe and Asia for the last 13 years, and it finally became time for us to return to CONUS (continental US for you non-DoD types). We finally chose the one that best met our needs, and are very happy with the results. She referred us to a great inspector who found things that needed to get done which gave us more confidence, and the closing date, which relied on Powers of Attorney, went smoothly. This was a unique and challenging house purchase and move, and while seeing the houses in person is the ideal, it just couldn't happen in our case. Two things enabled us to do this with confidence -- modern technology (internet and FaceTime) and a professional, committed real estate agent who gave us honest assessments, showed ultimate flexibility, and was there every step of the way.
